WINTER STORM COULD CAUSE POWER OUTAGES

The Village of Clinton is under a winter weather advisory from 1:00 PM Friday, January 12th until 7:00 PM Saturday, January 13th. The forecast is to have snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches with wind gusting as high as 50 mph. Although the Village regularly trims trees to help reduce the likelihood of outages from fallen limbs, gusty winds may bring down snow covered tree branches resulting in scattered power outages.  If there is an outage within the Village’s distribution system, the Electric staff is prepared to restore power.
