JOB OPENING - Accounts Payable/DDA Assistant

The Village of Clinton is excited to add a part-time Accounts Payable/DDA Assistant member for approximately 20 hours per week with the likelihood of going full time (35 hours) in 2-3 years. 

The Village is seeking an individual with a positive attitude that can be maintained in stressful situations, must maintain discrete and confidential information, be detail oriented, have the ability to take-charge and own their position with limited supervision, be able to multi-task, continue to learn and change as situations arise, and see projects through to the end.

The ideal candidate would have a secretarial and/or accounting background, and be able to effectively use Windows, Email, Excel, and Word.  Required training includes a high school diploma or the equivalent, supplemented by knowledge, experience, or training in business, accounting/bookkeeping, computers, and data processing skills.  All other training would be provided by the Village.
