2/13/2020 - Utility Bill and Payment Changes

Dear Utility Customer,

Some important changes are coming to the way the Village will process payments for utility bills, and the way your utility bill is sent. We are very excited for these updates, to streamline our system, and to provide more options for our residents:

1).  Village of Clinton EFT - If you are currently registered with the Village of Clinton’s EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) program to pay your bill on the due date, this will no longer be an option after April 30, 2020. We will be moving away from in house EFT’s, and turning this over to our processor (PSN – Payment Service Network). We will continue to provide EFT through the end of April 2020, after that you will need to be registered with PSN to set up automatic payments. Many of our residents have been utilizing the on-line credit/debit card and EFT payments through PSN since 2014. Please contact our office if you set up your PSN account prior to April 30th, so that we may remove you from our EFT.

2).  E-Bill - We are excited to announce an E-Bill option! Soon you will be able to opt out of receiving a paper bill each month, and receive an email instead. You will also be able to go on-line and view your history! You must have a PSN account to opt into E-Bill.

3).  Annual Water Bills - The final change will be for those of you who have an annual second water meter for your outside spigot or irrigation system. This bill will now be combined with your regular monthly bill. You should see this change coming in the next couple of months!

If you need help setting up a PSN account, please contact our office, call PSN at 877-885-7968, or download the PSN Payments app. You may even stop by the office and we will help you set your account up while you’re here.

You will find the link on our website at www.villageofclinton.org  Click the ‘make a payment’ button located on the bottom right, click register, enter the last name on the account and the account number located on your bill. Then follow the prompts to set up your account.
