The Village of Clinton is seeking applicants for full-time and substitute school crossing guards. Crossing guards are used at heavily traveled intersections and crosswalks, providing Clinton School Students with safe passage to and from school. Work days are on a Monday through Friday basis during the academic school year.  Full Day:  7:30am to 8:05am & 2:55pm to 3:30pm   Half Day:  7:30am to 8:05am & 11:30am to 12:10pm

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time unassisted
  • Must have good vision and hearing
  • Cannot have a criminal conviction, and must submit to a criminal history check via fingerprints
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be available for possible call-in shifts during the academic school year
