Prohibition on use of consmer fireworks
 
 
Sec. 26-107. - Prohibition on use of consumer fireworks

(a) No person shall ignite, discharge, or use consumer fireworks within the Village, between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. of the day preceding, the day of or the day after a national holiday consistent with Section 7(2) of Act No. 256 of the Public Acts of 2011 except that on New Year's Day no person shall ignite, discharge or use consumer fireworks between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

(b) No person shall ignite, discharge or use consumer fireworks within the village while under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance, or a combination of alcohol and a controlled substance at any time.

(c) No person under the age of 18 shall ignite, discharge or use consumer fireworks within the village at any time.
