A county-wide emergency weather notification system is now available for Lenawee County. Citizens and businesses can go to http://www.lenawee.mi.us/departments/emergency-management to find the Code Red logo that will take them to the registration window. It only requires a couple of minutes to become registered on the system. The Code Red message system will send tornado and severe weather alerts to your home, business, or cell phones. The alert is geographically targeted to only those included in a defined watch or warning area.
