The meeting opened at

Morgan. Laurence Peters was absent.

seconded by Orban to approve the

sending thank you letters to C&D Hughes Inc., Barrett Paving Materials, and

Woolen Mill reclamation case.
Council discussed the
electric cost of service study. A public
hearing will be scheduled for November to discuss lowering electric rates. Council was supportive.
Council discussed electric
transmission and climate change issues.
Motion was made by Morgan and
seconded by Sines to authorize the President and Clerk to execute the Supplement
to the Power Sales Contract dated
Motion was made by Habrick

Council was updated on the
Michigan Medical Marijuana law. The
Village is working with the Township Planning Commission and attorney to draft
regulations for

and seconded by Orban to receive and file the Council information packet. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Habrick and
seconded by Morgan to authorize the Village Manager to submit the Michigan
Municipal League ballot as presented.
Motion carried unanimously.
The following comments were

Morgan complimented the Fall Festival Committee on a great Fall Festival and
Carl Habrick asked why there are
not more cross walks on
