Mr. Don Isley, a candidate for the Lenawee County Road Commission, addressed Council.
The public hearing opened at
Motion was made by Habrick and seconded by Morgan to adopt Ordinance Number 5 of 2008. An ordinance to change the zoning from Agricultural to High Density Residential. Motion carried unanimously.

Peters to approve the checks written for the period ending

Council was updated on the wastewater treatment plant cash flow projections.
Council discussed replacing the sludge thickener line at the sewer plant.

Motion was made by Habrick and seconded by Orban to authorize the start of the railroad land sale process. Motion carried unanimously.
Council was updated on the bridge inspection report.
Motion was made by Orban and seconded by Peters to adopt Ordinance Number 6 of 2008. An ordinance to prohibit disposing or refuse, garbage, or any other item(s) in a privately owned refused receptacle or dumpster without the owner’s prior approval. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Peters and seconded by Morgan to receive and file the Council information packet. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Morgan and seconded by Habrick to accept as presented the MML Workers Compensation board ballot. Motion carried unanimously.
The following comment was from Council. Carl Habrick was asked
about putting in a splash park.
President Mowery commented on the township recycling program which will cost Village
residents above what they are already paying for curbside recycling; and the
