Village of Clinton

March 17, 2008

The meeting opened at 7:00 pm.

Members present were President Mowery, Carl Habrick, Dianne Davis, Laurence Peters, Larry Sines, Joe Orban, and Todd Morgan.

Council was updated on the AMP-Ohio Generating Station and Hydroelectric Project.

Council was updated on the preliminary injunction for the Clinton Woolen Mill.

Council discussed an article on pharmaceuticals in US water.

Council was given a notice explaining the 2008 property tax assessments.

The Village Manager reported that due to the wet grass and parking lot at Tate Park, the Easter Egg Hunt would be held in the front of the High School.

Motion was made by Morgan and seconded by Sines to go into close session to discuss legal issues with the Mrs. Claudia Orr, Labor Counsel. Motion carried unanimously with a roll call vote. Close session started at 7:18 pm.

Motion was made by Habrick and seconded by Orban to go into open session. Motion carried unanimously. Open session started at 7:55 pm.

Motion was made by Orban and seconded by Morgan to authorize the execution of the letter of Understanding with the Clinton Public Employees Association. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion was made by Morgan and seconded by Orban to authorize the Labor Counsel to prepare a letter of understanding for the DPW Supervisors.

Motion was made by Habrick and seconded by Orban to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.

The meeting closed at 8:01 pm.
